Restoration of Lakshi Narsimha Temple & New Complex at Mankeshwar Wada, Nira Narsingpur
The village located at the southeastern corner of Pune District was in for a complete overhaul of its fortunes whereby a sum of Rs 260 Crores (Rupees 2600 Million) was pledged by the Sate Government for its development and conservation. We as a firm designed each of the new buildings and places along the two rivers while conserving the 12th Century temple of Lord Narasimha. A Tourist resort, Lodging for pilgrims and a Multipurpose hall set in a landscaped premises of the earlier Mankeshwar Wada was designed as a low key green building complex while the restoration of the temple complex is an ongoing process with the Department of Archaeology & Museums, Government of Maharashtra.
